If you haven’t reserved a rental car in advance, same-day rentals are still available.
There are several car rental companies located about a 10-minute walk from the airport.
However, we recommend reserving a rental car before coming to Ishigaki Island. Rental cars can fill up quickly, so you may not be able to rent one without a reservation.
